Camp Navarro is an exclusive and unique venue for your special day!

 Camp Navarro welcomes a few weddings a year to our beautiful 200 acre property in the Anderson Valley of Mendocino County, California.
Camp Navarro is a “dream come true” venue for couples looking for a destination ‘camp/community’ type wedding with refinement.

We are located in a ‘greatest hits’ area of California with close-by vineyards, towering redwoods, and coastal ambiance.

We look forward to working with you to create a wedding filled with memorable experiences in our magical setting.

Site Rental
Our wedding program typically consists of a two-night/three day rental that allows for exclusive use of the property, Bosch Lodge (4600 square foot hall), food & beverage related serving items, use of various equipment including tables, chairs, benches, basic sound system, and dance mats.

Lodging / Camping/ RV
Lodging will be booked and paid for by the guests attending the wedding. The accommodations include idyllic cabins, glamping tent units and BYO tent & RV options that span across the property. All lodging has a two night minimum requirement. Local off-site lodging options are available to augment and provide for a different style of stay for guests.

Catering
Camp Navarro has a professional catering kitchen, outdoor wood fired pizza oven and BBQ smoker. Meal catering is buffet service with the seating arrangement designed with the CN planning team. Outside caterers are not allowed use of the kitchen or any of the catering equipment. Pot-luck style catering is not an option for food service. Please work with an outside vendor to provide the wedding cake and/or desserts.

Beverage Service
Camp Navarro has a wine and beer license and also provides non-alcoholic beverages. High quality local products from the Anderson Valley and Mendocino County wineries and breweries are sourced and served. The alcohol permit covers the main lodge (Bosch Lodge) as well as the lawn, campfire and main stage area in front of the lodge. Beverage service is provided at a bar(s) in the ABC area. Hard alcohol can be accommodated and must be provided by an outside bar service and follow CN and ABC rules. Camp Navarro has specific rules that need to be adhered to when working with an outside bar service for provision of spirits. Non-Camp Navarro alcohol is required to stay out of the permitted area, except outside wine corked and served by Camp Navarro..

Camp Navarro provides idyllic and comfortable lodging among the Redwoods.

Our accommodations include Cabins, Glamping Teepees Tents, and Adirondacks.
There is additional space for RVs and individual tents.

Our lodging can accommodate 260 guests.
For group sizes beyond our capacity, 'pop up' lodging is an option for an additional fee.


Cabins

  • There are 32 cabins onsite that sleep 2-8 people each depending on the configuration.

  • These units are located in both Upper and Lower Camp with 14 nestled in Lower camp and 17 spread out throughout Upper Camp.

  • Upper Camp Cabins are located in six separate and uniquely named villages.
    Each cabin has wood-framed beds and bunk beds (queen and twin variations) with foam mattresses or Tempur-Pedic mattresses,

  • All cabins have electricity, lighting, and are equipped with space heaters and mirrors.

  • Bedding is pillows, sheets and Rumpl comforters.

Adirondacks

  • There are 12 Adirondacks onsite that sleep 4-5 people in each for a sleeping capacity of 12 to 60 guests.

  • These are 3 sided cabins with canvas curtains on the open side that act as a fourth wall.

  • Each has a twin bunk bed, a twin bed, and a queen bed with foam pad mattresses.

  • These units do not have electricity, but are equipped with battery-powered lighting.

  • Bedding is a sleeping bag, fitted bottom sheet and a pillow per guest unless otherwise specified

Lower Camp Teepee Tents

  • There are 24 Glamping Tents onsite in Lower Camp that sleep 1 person (2 if a couple) in each for a sleeping capacity of 24 guests minimum.

  • These units are set up with Queen size Tempur-Pedic memory foam mattresses.

  • These units do not have electricity, but there are small lanterns outside the tent and battery-powered lighting inside.

  • Bedding is sheets, pillows and Rumpl comforters.

Upper Camp Teepee Tents

  • There are 18 Glamping Tents onsite in Upper Camp that sleep 1-2 people in each for a sleeping capacity of 18 to 36 guests.

  • These units are set up with twin size beds with memory foam mattresses.

  • These units do not have electricity, but there are small lanterns outside the tent and battery-powered lighting inside.

  • Bedding is a sleeping bag, fitted bottom sheet and a pillow per guest unless otherwise specified

RV & Tent spaces

  • Navarro has an RV zone with 15 sites.

  • 7 include electricity hookups (max of 20 amps to powers interior lights)

  • There are no water or septic hook ups.

  • Tents are permitted in designated camping areas if you want to bring your own set up and bedding.

Bathrooms & Showers

  • There are several bathroom and shower areas spread out across the property

  • All have hot running water and flushing toilets.

  • We have the main bathroom / shower facility located in the Lower Cabin area with lights and electricity.

    • The men’s room has 2 toilet stalls and 2 shower stalls.

    • The women’s room has 6 toilet stalls and 7 shower stalls.

    • There are 4 outdoor showers attached to the outside of the main bathhouse.

  • There is a shower house in Upper Camp near Comanche village with 12 shower stalls and lights.

  • There are 5 more bathroom and shower area throughout the rest of the property.

    • Each has 2 flush toilets and 1 outdoor shower.

  • Additional restrooms are located on the top and bottom floors of Bosch Lodge

Camp Navarro is proud to serve high quality meals fitting of our Mendocino wine country setting.


 WEDDING CATERING PROGRAM


  • Camp Navarro’s Wedding Catering Program commences with a Welcome Dinner on night one, followed the next day by a Reception Dinner and a Farewell Brunch.

  • Happy Hour & Late-Night provisions can be offered in addition to the programmed meal services.

  • Pricing does not include Sales Tax of 7.875%, but will be added on at closeout.

  • CN provides menus for any additional meals during the stay. The wedding couple decides the additional catering.

  • Wine & Beer and Non-Alcoholic beverage service is addition to and separate charge from the catering program.

  • Menus will be finalized during the planning process.

Menu Selections & Guest Counts

  • Due 30 days prior to event. Numbers cannot be reduced after this date.

  • Guest count can increase up to 14 days prior to event.

Buffet Service & Dining Set Ups

  • All meals are served Buffet Style.

  • Meal times will be set during planning.

  • Table & Seating plan will be set during planning. Once decided upon, the location and/or layout of the tables is not moved or changed once decided upon.

Dietary Restrictions

  • CN’s Chef will work to accommodate, as needed, within reason and discretion.

  • Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free provisions are accommodated within the menu options.

  • The menu options do not get adjusted to accommodate for dietary preferences.

    • Camp Navarro cannot accommodate for Celiac needs.

    • Camp Navarro is not a gluten free facility and cannot guarantee the safety for a Celiac guest.

    • It is recommended that they bring their own food.

  • The Executive Chef needs to be notified of these guests in pre-event planning meetings.

WEDDING BEVERAGE PROGRAM


CN STANDARD BAR AND NON-ALCOHOLIC SERVICE

  • Staffed appropriately to serve your quantity of guests

    • Staffing and additional bars may be provided depending on the size of group. Discretion of additional staffing and bars is solely up to Camp Navarro.

  • A set up of one, stationary bar for the duration of your event that will serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks

    • 6 hours of bar service per day. Bar service hours are set during planning.

      • Additional hours of bar service are $250 per hour - up to 2 additional hour depending on when bar is opened - further discussed in plannning.

      • CN reserves the right to not extend hours and/or allow for purchases past the initial purchase.

  • Provision of coolers and ice for purchased non-alcoholic drinks to allow for self-service throughout the day.

    • CN staff will stock coolers with purchased n/a beverages and keep beverages on ice throughout the day.

  • Meal Beverage Service

  • Breakfast is served with coffee & tea service, orange juice, apple juices, and water.

  • Lunch & Dinner are served with iced black tea, lemonade and water.


ALCOHOL SERVICE RULES

Camp Navarro:

  • Serves no more than 8 hours of service total.

  • Executes all wine & beer sales.

  • IDs anyone who appears to look under the age of 30.

  • Does not serve more than 1 drink an hour per person.

  • "Bring Your Own" alcohol is not allowed inside the permitted area.

    • The ABC permitted area includes the main lodge, most of grass area in front of lawn, campfire and stage areas.

    • The area is demarcated with boundaries.

  • If you choose to Bring Your Own (“BYO”) wine and this is agreed to with CN, a buyout fee will be assessed per the size of the group and based on quantity

    • A per bottle corkage fee of $ 15 plus sales tax will be assessed.

  • NO SMOKING of any kind in the permitted ABC area.

  • California state law does not allow consumption of alcoholic beverages on licensed premises from 2am-6am.

    • Camp Navarro's policies extend this restriction to the entire 200-acre property.


BAR SERVICE DRINK PRICING

  • $8.50 per alcoholic drink (Sales tax not included - 7.875%)

    • 12 oz. beer & cider pour

    • 5 oz. wine pour

  • Non-alcoholic pricing is based on additional quantities and selections purchased.

  • Non Alcoholic beverages, beyond the included drinks at meals, are purchased in addition to wine and beer.

  • A menu with pricing will be provided to pick from. See below for standard items available.

  • Additionally purchased non-alcoholic beverages are placed in self-serve coolers for all day access and/or can be served from the bar during bar service.

All Purchase costs will tabulate on the Non-Alcoholic Drinks Sheet and on the Additions & Change Order sheet to aid in budgeting.

Important considerations in regards to hosting your wedding at Camp Navarro…

  • Summer & Fall provide the most stable weather. Winter & Spring are gorgeous but have more dynamic weather with less demand and reduced site fee.

    • Holiday & three night rentals and rates can be discussed.

  • Lodging consists of 32 cabins, 12 Adirondacks, 42 Teepees tents, 20 RV spots, and space for personal tent camping.

    • We can sleep up to 260 guests in our lodging depending on sleeping configurations.

    • Lodging reservations are handled via an online booking platform.

    • Rates are subject to seasonality and day of week. (additional 10% transient occupancy tax and 1% BID fee applied to the nightly rate).

  • CN Beverage program is based on per drink pricing and served via open bar. One bar setup included.

    • There are options for payment: prepaid tab and tracking, open cash bar, or combination of both.

    • Wine, Beer & Cider is normally priced at $8 (plus tax-7.875%) per drink but subject to change.

      • Besides bar service, CN can provide wine and beer on tables at meals. Pricing based upon size of wedding and wine selection.

    • Non-alcoholic offerings include sparkling water, soft drinks, lemonade and iced tea. Pricing varies upon selection (plus tax-7.875%)

    • 6 hours of bar service on arrival day and wedding day included. You can extend hours with additional fees. We do not serve past 2am per California law.

  • Details and inventories in regards to tables, chairs and benches can be provided.

  • A small, basic sound system is included for announcements, speeches, etc.

    • A larger system (and sound person) will need to be rented for any live music or dancing.

  • Amplified music is allowed outside until 10pm (County mandated amplified music curfew).

    • Amplified music can continue indoors in Bosch lodge until 2am.

      • Indoor music in the lodge requires discussion and agreement with the CN planning team.

  • Activities can be provided: yoga, hikes, rock climbing wall & archery with additional fees.

  • A website developed for the wedding couple for communications with guests.

  • The Wedding couple is required to:

    • Take a Site Tour of Camp Navarro with on-site team before booking wedding.

    • Hire and work with a wedding planner to plan and work with Camp Navarro’s on-site team to execute the wedding.

    • Obtain Event Insurance per Camp Navarro specifications.

  • Outside vendors can be hired for rentals including tents, linens, tableware, lights, sound systems, heaters, dance floor, etc.

    • All vendors are required to provide proof of general liability insurance and workers comp insurance.

    • Wedding couple or wedding planner is responsible for working with the vendor to provide these requirements.

How do we book our wedding and what is the process?

  • Once you have toured the property, we are excited to book your wedding and the process is as follows:

    • An agreement will be drafted with the established pricing to be signed by CN and wedding couple.

    • Once the agreement is signed, the 1st payment is required to engage in the planning process.

      • The 1st payment will be 50% of Site Fee.

      When the deposit has been received, the CN planning team will set up a meeting to review all of the elements needed to plan your wedding.

    • The CN planning will work with you and your planner through the planning process until your departure from CN once your wedding stay has come to a close.

      • Typically, there is a kick off meeting and a couple of follow up meetings to lock in all of the details for your wedding.

    • A 2nd payment will be required according to the timelines set in the agreement.

      • This payment may include guests, catering, beverage, and activity charges that are in addition to the original agreement.

    • At the end of the wedding stay, if additional charges were not included in the 2nd payment, wedding couple will sign off on a change order for these charges.

    • Camp Navarro will send a final invoice to closeout the event.

CAN WE SEE THE CATERING AND BEVERAGE MENUS?

  • We have curated, set catering and beverage menus and will provide additional information in planning.

    • The curated catering menu handles vegetarian and gluten-free provisions.

  • Catering is focused on the rehearsal dinner, wedding dinner, and farewell brunch

    • Appetizer & Hors d'oeuvre, Late Night Bite menus & additional meal options will be provided and discussed in planning.

HOW IS CATERING AND BEVERAGE SERVICE HANDLED?

  • Catering your meals is handled through buffet service and table layouts will be discussed during planning.

  • Beverage service is handled through deployed bars. The number of deployed bars is dependent on the planning process.

HOW DOES LODGING WORK AT CAMP NAVARRO?

  • An online booking platform is used to book lodging at Camp Navarro.

    • The platform does not provide guest services to answer questions or change lodging types, but information is provided on the site to answer questions related to booking lodging.

  • CN Planning Team will work with you to place guests in the lodging to allow for desired arrangements.

  • A two-night minimum is required for all bookings.

  • Cancellation guidelines are provided on the booking website in case of the need for a guest to cancel attendance.

  • Rates are subject to seasonality and day of week.

  • Camp Navarro does not provide “Check’In / Check Out” Services or guest arrival service.

    • For guest arrival, the CN planning team will work with you to provide a plan for handling guest arrival.

IS THERE OFF-SITE LODGING CLOSE TO CAMP NAVARRO?

  • Yes, the local area has several lodging options and we can provide more details in planning.

DO YOU PROVIDE TRADITIONAL HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES?

  • All bedding will be made up for guests upon arrival.

  • Camp Navarro has a housekeeping staff that works to keep all of the bathrooms and main spaces clean and tidy.

  • Due to the length of stay and style of accommodations, CN’s housekeeping staff does not provide daily lodging cleaning or turndown service.

DO YOU PROVIDE TOWELS?

  • Guests need to bring their own towels.

    • Towel rentals can be provided for an additional fee.

DO YOU HAVE A SAMPLE SCHEDULE OR ITINERARY?

  • We do have a schedule / itinerary we recommend to follow . This will be provided in the planning phase.

IS REHEARSAL TIME INCLUDED IN THE SITE FEE?

  • Rehearsal time is included in the cost of the venue and timing will be worked out in the planning phase.

WHEN CAN WE ARRIVE & WHEN ARE WE TO DEPART?

  • Wedding planners and couples, typically, arrive in the morning on the first day of the event.

  • Wedding guests are invited to arrive in the afternoon of the first day, preferably in the afternoon, to allow time to settle in before the festivities begin.

  • Departure of all wedding guests, planner(s), party are expected to depart by time provided in agreement.

  • Early Arrivals & Late Departure are subject to availability, group size, and may be subject additional fees.*

    *Early arrivals and late departures can be discussed, but due to the nature of the event schedule, CN may not be able to accommodate these requests.

CAN ITEMS BE DELIVERED TO CAMP NAVARRO PRIOR TO THE EVENT START DATE?

  • We accept pre-approved deliveries. During the planning stage of your event, we will provide more details as there specific shipping requirements.

HOW DO VENDORS WORK?

  • All vendors are required to provide insurance and worker’s compensation documents before delivering to property

    • Wedding planner / couple work with CN planning team to ensure all requirements are met.

  • Deliveries from vendors to be discussed and planned with CN team.

    • No vendors can deliver without CN approval.

  • All vendors and rental equipment to be removed by 5 pm on last day.

WILL WE HAVE FRIDGE / FREEZER ACCESS?

  • We cannot store individual guests’ personal items in our refrigerators or kitchen.

    • There are exceptions for necessary items (wedding cakes, desserts)

    • Medications, breast milk, etc (stored in the medic's refrigerator)

  • There is a refrigerator for your use in Shannon Lodge.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

  • If inclement weather is seen in the forecast before your wedding, depending on the size of the wedding, we may have the ability to move dining and ceremony in the main lodge.

  • We suggest you are prepared for weather through renting tents as needed.

HOW DO WE GET TO CAMP NAVARRO?

  • You can have both private, personal cars and buses providing transportation to the event.

    • We can provide information for transportation vendors who have driven prior groups to CN.

      • CN does not book any transportation services for planner or couple.

CARS & PARKING…

  • We have ample parking for hundreds of cars. Guests are to park in designated parking areas.

  • Cars are not allowed to be parked on the roads in camp or in the camp villages during events.

  • No cars parked on Masonite Industrial Rd. Cars parked on this road will be towed.

  • All Fire lanes must be observed.

DO YOU HAVE CELL SERVICE ON SITE?

  • There is no cell phone reception on the property.

  • iMessaging, texting, and calling over the Wi-Fi works, but is not guaranteed on all devices and at all times throughout the property.

  • We have a landline on the property that can be used in case of emergency only.

ARE YOU WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

  • Lodging

    • Cabins 2, 11, and 12 in the lower, main cabin area have wheelchair ramps.

    • One cabin in Crow Village in Upper Camp has a ramp, but accessing this area is not recommended for wheelchairs.

    • We have a wheelchair ramp behind the Lodge with access to the main hall.

  • Restrooms & Showers

    • There is an ADA restroom in the main hall of the lodge.

      • The lower, main shower house has an ADA toilet stall in the women’s room and an ADA shower in the women’s room.

        • We can arrange for designated times for men to use the ADA shower as needed.

WHAT IS THE LIGHTING SITUATION?

  • The main areas of camp and paths leading towards the cabins and Adirondacks are illuminated with bistro lighting.

  • There are many unlit areas so please bring flashlights or. headlamps.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE?

  • In general, Summertime finds Camp Navarro warm to hot (70-80’s) by day and cool at night (50’s-60’s) once the sun sets.

  • Fall weather can range from mid 80s in day to mid 40s at night and can be damp.

  • Mornings, in general throughout the year, can be cool until about 9-10am.

CAN WE HAVE FIRES?

  • We only allow fires in our large community fire bowl outside of the lodge in Bosch Meadow that we light each night of your event.

    • We are in a high wildfire danger zone, so this fire will be kept and monitored to a reasonable size (no bigger than what we build it).

  • ABSOLUTELY NO personal fires in villages or campgrounds.

    Please help us to educate all of your guests on this policy for their safety and the safety of the forest.

IS SMOKING ALLOWED?

  • Smoking is allowed in designated areas.

CAN PEOPLE BRING A DOG OR OTHER ANIMAL?

  • There are NO pets allowed on the property.

  • Any guest who arrives with a pet, that is not a service animal, will be denied access to the property, asked to leave, and no refund provided.

DO YOU HAVE WILDLIFE? POISON OAK?

  • We do have a variety of wildlife that we share the land with.

    • Please do not leave food out overnight or keep open food in the tents and Adirondacks.

    • Please observe animals from a distance.

    • Do not attempt to approach or feed any animal.

  • We are also in an area with ticks and Poison Oak. Please take appropriate precautions.

DO YOU HAVE A LOST AND FOUND?

  • Camp Navarro is not responsible for items left on the property during or after the event. Any items we find during your event will be brought to the Lost and Found in the Meadow Café.

WHAT IS YOUR SOUND POLICY?

A county noise ordinance requires NO amplified music or drumming outside after 10pm.

  • Amplified music may be moved indoors to the lodge after 10pm until 2am (at CN discretion).

  • Specifics in regards to decibel levels (sound volume) will be discussed in planning.

DO YOU HAVE QUIET HOURS?

  • Yes. Quiet hours are from 2am until 8am.

ARE BICYCLES ALLOWED?

  • Yes! Bicycles are permitted on the dirt roads with-in the camp.

  • Please do not ride on the lawns or parking lots.

  • NO RIDING on Masonite Industrial Road. This is a privately owned and active logging road.

CAN WE BRING…?

  • Drones - No

  • Pets - No

  • Sparklers or fireworks - No

  • Fishing gear – No

DO YOU HAVE AN ELECTRIC CAR CHARGER ON SITE?

  • At this time, CN does not have an electric charger on site. We do not allow charging from any of our outlets.

  • There are several Superchargers in the Anderson Valley at:

    • Navarro Winery (8.0 miles away) (Tesla SC)

    • Handley Cellars (5.5x miles away) (Charge Point)

    • The Bewildered Pig (4.2 miles away) (Tesla SC)

    • Greenwood Ridge Vineyards (7.8 miles away) (Tesla SC)

IS THERE SWIMMING?

The North fork of the Navarro River and Neefus Creek run through the property. There are several “swimming” holes on the river that vary in depth depending on the rainfall and time of year.

  • There is no lifeguard on duty.

  • Children must be supervised by and adult at all times near the river and creek

  • Fishing is not permitted in Neefus Creek or Navarro River.

  • No swimming in Neefus Creek.

DIRECTIONS FROM HWY 101

  • U.S. 101 from north or south towards Cloverdale to junction with CA - 128 West to Fort Bragg/ Mendocino.

  • Take the CA-128 W exit towards Ft. Bragg/ Mendocino  - 0.2 mi.

  • Turn left onto CA 128 W / N. Cloverdale Blvd. – 0.8 mi.

  • Turn right to stay on CA-128  to Navarro, CA - 41.3 mi.

  • At the Navarro General Store, continue on CA-128 to the first bridge - 1.6 mi.

  • Cross the North Fork of the Navarro River and turn right on Masonite Road - 100 ft.

  • Take Masonite Rd. to the entrance to Camp Navarro -  0.7 mi.

  • Continue past Gate 1 with the Camp Navarro sign to Gate 2 and turn right. Follow the drive down the Corral parking area at main lodge.
